EMC Regulations
IEC 61000-4-2:2008 Electrostatic discharge immunity test relates to the immunity requirements and test methods for electrical and electronic equipment subjected to static electricity discharges, from operators directly, and from personnel to adjacent objects.
IEC 61000-4-4:2012 Electrical fast transient/burst immunity test relates to the immunity of electrical and electronic equipment to repetitive electrical fast transients.
IEC 61000-4-5:2014 Surge immunity test relates to the immunity requirements, test methods, and range of recommended test levels for equipment with regard to unidirectional surges caused by over-voltages from switching and lightning transients
IEC 61000-4-6: 2023 Immunity to conducted disturbances, induced by radio-frequency fields relates to the conducted immunity requirements of electrical and electronic equipment to electromagnetic disturbances coming from intended radio-frequency (RF) transmitters in the frequency range 150 kHz up to 80 MHz.
IEC 61000-3-2 Limits for harmonic current emissions (equipment input current ≤16 A per phase) IEC 61000-3-2:2018 deals with the limitation of harmonic currents injected into the public supply system.
IEC 61000-3-3 Limitation of voltage changes, voltage fluctuations and flicker in public low-voltage supply systems, for equipment with rated current ≤16 A per phase and not subject to conditional connection EC 61000-3-3:2013 is concerned with the limitation of voltage fluctuations and flicker impressed on the public low-voltage system. It specifies limits of voltage changes which may be produced by an equipment tested under specified conditions and gives guidance on methods of assessment.
IEC 61000-4-11:2020 RLV Voltage dips, short interruptions and voltage variations immunity tests for equipment with input current up to 16 A per phase IEC 61000-4-11:2020 defines the immunity test methods and range of preferred test levels for electrical and electronic equipment connected to low-voltage power supply networks for voltage dips, short interruptions, and voltage variations. This document applies to electrical and electronic equipment having a rated input current not exceeding 16 A per phase, for connection to 50 Hz or 60 Hz AC networks
IEC 55014-1 Requirements for household appliances, electric tools and similar apparatus - Part 1: Emission This part of CISPR 14 specifies the requirements that apply to the emission of radio-frequency disturbances in the frequency range 9 kHz to 400 GHz from appliances, electric tools and similar apparatus as defined below, whether powered by AC or DC (including a battery)
IEC 55015 Limits and methods of measurement of radio disturbance characteristics of electrical ligthing and similar equipment This standard applies to the emission (radiated and conducted) of radiofrequency disturbances from various luminaires.
IEC 55014-2 Requirements for household appliances, electric tools and similar apparatus This part of CISPR 14 specifies the electromagnetic immunity requirements in the frequency range 0 Hz to 400 GHz that apply to appliances, electric tools and similar apparatus as specified below, whether powered by AC or DC (including a battery).
IEC 55032 Electromagnetic compatibility of multimedia equipment - Emission Requirements (CISPR 32:2015) This International Standard applies to multimedia equipment (MME) as defined in 3.1.24 and having a rated r.m.s. AC or DC supply voltage not exceeding 600 V.
EN IEC 55035 Electromagnetic compatibility of multimedia equipment — Immunity Requirements EN IEC 55035 is a new standard and combines the EMC immunity requirements for Information Technology Equipment, consumer electronics such as audio and video equipment, and broadcast equipment within a new multimedia equipment (MME). This standard applies to multimedia equipment (MME) having a rated AC or DC supply voltage not exceeding 600 V.
EN 60529 Degrees of protection provided by enclosures (IP code) (For electrical equipments) This standard applies to the classification of degrees of protection provided by encloswes for electrical equipment with a rated voltage not exceeding 72.5 kV.
IEC 60730-1:2022 Automatic electrical controls - Part 1: General requirements IEC 60730-1:2022 applies to automatic electrical controls for use in, on, or in association with equipment for household appliance and similar use.
IEC TR 61547-1:2020 RLV Equipment for general lighting purposes - EMC immunity requirements - Part 1: Objective light flickermeter and voltage fluctuation immunity test method
EN 61851-21-2 :2018 defines the EMC requirements for any off-board components or equipment of such systems used to supply or charge electric vehicles with electric power by conductive power transfer (CPT), with a rated input voltage, according to IEC 60038:2009, up to 1 000 V AC or 1 500 V DC and an output voltage up to 1 000 V AC or 1 500 V DC.

ISO 16750 General Standart This part of ISO 16750 applies to electric and electronic systems/components for vehicles. It describes the potential environmental stresses and specifies tests and requirements recommended for the specific mounting location on/in the vehicle.
ISO16750-2 Electrical testing This part of ISO 16750 describes the electrical loads. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is not covered by this part of ISO 16750. Electrical loads are independent from the mounting location, but can vary due to the electrical resistance in the vehicle wiring harness and connection system.
ISO 16750-3 Mechanical testing This part of ISO 16750 describes mechanical loads.
ISO16750-4 Environmental testing This part of ISO 16750 describes climatic loads
ISO16750-5 Chemical testing This part of ISO 16750 describes chemical loads. It is not designed to evaluate whether an electrical/electronic system/component is suitable for performing during continuous contact with an agent, such as a fuel pump immersed continuously in fuel.
